We’ve published the SVAP Approved Standards for 2026! This year’s SVAP includes updated support for USCDI v6, new FHIR and C-CDA support, updates to QRDA I & III, and standards for electronic prior authorization. Beginning August 29, 2026, health IT developers participating in the ONC Health IT Certification Program can voluntarily incorporate new versions of standards into their Certified Health IT Modules.

The Draft United States Core Data for Interoperability Version 7 is now available, with new data elements that seek to advance interoperability for patient care. The new Standards Bulletin 26-1 provides additional information about the process to develop USCDI v7.
